First off, Thanks for the inspiration DA
I now feel better as Gidget meets Biker sounds even scarier than the "fuzzy mullet" look that I can get. That is pretty scary, let me tell you.
Then again what's really scary is that we used actually wear mullets and think they were cool
many moons ago puke
A Bowie Shag ala Ziggy is cool, a mullet is evil.
While there isn't that much difference, there is enough to make them worlds apart.
Then agian it just may be that Bowie was cool and..ahh I'll let somebody else figure it out.

The wife's cooking has been good to me and my face has lost that gaunt, "heroin sheik" appearance. Truth is, I almost had her shave it all, but she convinced me otherwise. In time, though, that's probably the way I'll go.

So, Andy, why is Ma Nature pulling a cruel evolutionary joke on me, what with the patch I got plus the 5 o'clock shadow that shows up at noon? Am I a mutant? On second thought, forget I asked.

I can honestly say I never had a true "mullet". I got the back trimmed off so it was not noticeably longer than the front...so it was a "shag", which isn't much better...but it was not a "mullet".

My other major problem was that the front seemed to grow much slower than the rest, though. That also added to the shag/Beatles look. Once the bangs grew out, it of course had that mod/skater look for a while, then finally was long enow to call..."long". Its a transition, you just gotta bear with it.

I've been debating getting the back of my neck shaved, though. You know most guys and some gals have those wispy, "baby hairs" on the back of their neck? Well...I have a thick, curling pelt of those. Heh. Yep, I'm just a simmering, sweaty, hairy pot of testosterone...

DA, lool at it this way, you may be a "simmering, sweaty, hairy pot of testosterone"
But the next level in "too much testosterone" means "Male pattern baldness" Yes they are linked. I knew a guy who lost all the hair on his head ---- and grew it on his back, ears, out his nose, anywhere but where it should be y'know? He was just cursing the heavens going "WHY???"
So there's a silver lining in there somewhere.

BWAH! Naw, I'm just a furry guy. All the hair on my head seems to be staying where it belongs. Still...I dread the day I have to start trimming nose and ear hair...*blargh!*

Is it better to pluck, or trim?

...how's that for too much info, Fluffles?
